The Mid Range Diesels satisfy the demand for medium sized, high quality, heat exchanger or keel cooled engines which are both powerful and compact with low weight. The Large Range engines have been specially developed for installing in heavy duty commercial fishing boats, launches, barges, and motor cruisers where a naturally aspirated engine is required with high torque at low r.p.m. Based on the Ford 5 and 7.5 liter diesels, these Beta engines will operate very smoothly over the speed range.
